PY Education tutors the AP mathematics subjects — AP Calculus (AB and BC) and AP Statistics. Lessons are taught by Mr Wong.
Free-response questions are marked line by line: the theorem being used, the calculation, and the conclusion put back into the context of the question. Miss any of the three and the marks go. Plenty of students can do the mathematics and still not collect the marks, and this is why. We mark against the published College Board rubric, question by question, until the way of writing is stable.
A self-study candidate handles their own registration and timetable; we plan the syllabus from the beginning and work backwards from the May examination date. Many Hong Kong students take this route — the thing that decides it is starting early enough.

Some students self-study an AP while taking the IB or A-Levels, and it comes down to the timetable. We teach IB mathematics and A-Level mathematics on their own course pages, and we can work through what is actually feasible at the trial lesson.
Yes. Online lessons cost the same as lessons in Kwun Tong, and the time difference can be worked around.
