Hong Kong Secondary (HKDSE and Junior Forms)
S.1–S.3 Integrated Science tutoring, prepared against each school's own depth and assessment, covering concepts, experiment questions and scientific writing. One-to-one or a self-formed group, 75 minutes a lesson, Kwun Tong or online.
Need junior secondary Integrated Science tutoring? Classes are taught by Mr Wong, who holds an MSc in Financial Mathematics and Statistics from City University of Hong Kong, graduating with Distinction. He is a full-time tutor currently teaching Integrated Science to students at Ying Wa College and Po On Commercial Association Wong Siu Ching Secondary School, among others, and knows the depth and the assessments each school works to.
From S.1 to S.3, taught from the school’s own materials and past papers, covering the biology, chemistry and physics strands along with experiment questions and scientific writing. In Kwun Tong or online, 75 minutes a lesson.
Covering cells, human body systems and ecology, with the emphasis on how the concepts connect rather than on memorising terms in isolation.

Starting from the particle model of matter, then common reactions and acids and alkalis, so that students can explain what they observe in terms of particles.

Covering force and motion, energy, electricity and light, with the emphasis on what each formula means and how to choose the right one from what a question gives.

Experiment questions have a settled way of being written: how a variable is controlled, how a procedure is set out, how a result is explained. We demonstrate each in turn, then ask the student to write it themselves, until the answer comes in accurate scientific terms.

Junior Integrated Science has no public examination: the syllabus and the papers are set by the school, and the depth varies. Give us the school’s name and the materials in use when you enrol, and we prepare from that school’s pace, depth and past papers.
Integrated Science is where all three strands are met together. A student who has understood it has a much clearer sense of which suits them when Physics, Chemistry or Biology is chosen at the end of S.3.

Not at present. What we offer is junior secondary Integrated Science (IS), S.1 to S.3. The three separate senior subjects are not currently on offer.
From your school. Give us the school's name and the materials in use when you enrol, and we prepare from its pace, its depth and its past papers. Mr Wong currently teaches IS at several schools, including Ying Wa College and Po On Commercial Association Wong Siu Ching Secondary School.
Marks on experiment questions are usually lost in the writing, not the experiment. How a variable is controlled, how a procedure is set out, how a result is explained — each has a settled way of being written, and we practise them one at a time.
