GCE A-Level / IAL
IAL Business tutoring across marketing, operations, business decisions and global business — focused on case analysis and evaluation writing, planned around the January and June sittings. One-to-one, with a free trial lesson.
The course covers marketing and people, managing business activities, business decisions and strategy, and global business. The step up from IGCSE is that almost every mark now comes from applying theory to one specific firm. The question hands you a situation; you have to say which framework fits it, what it implies here, and where that conclusion stops holding.
Business is sat in units too, in January and June. Strategy and global business usually come later because they build on the first two units, though the order can change for a student who already has a business background. The first lesson fixes your sittings and works the schedule backwards from them.

Long-response answers in Business usually lose marks not through ignorance but through arguing one side. A position, reasons, a counter-case, and a conclusion that returns to the question — that structure is learnable. We take past-paper questions apart section by section, then ask for a rewrite in the student's own words.
A modular course can be split across sittings, so the schedule is worked backwards from which unit you intend to sit when — spreading the load and leaving room for a resit.
Business leans towards cases and management decisions: more writing, less calculation. Economics leans towards models and diagrams, explaining events through theory. Both are widely accepted for university entry, and they can be taken together. Which fits your plans is worth discussing at the trial lesson.
